sought for the Office of the Commission of the European Communities in Hong Kong
The European Communities the European Coal and Steel Community, the European Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy Community shall each have legal personality on the territory of Hong Kong.
2. The Communities shall have the capacity to conclude contracts, to acquire `and dispose of Immovable and Covable property 43 necessary · for the effective fulfillment of their duties and to conduct legal proceedings, and shall be represented for that purposa by the Commission of the European Communities
(hereinafter referred to as the Commission).
3. The Commission, its property and assets shall enjoy iroanity from suit and legal process except insofar as

4. The premises of the Office of the Commission shall be izriclable. The agents of Hong Kong may not enter them, except with the consent of the Read of the Office. Rong Kong is under
undez a special duty to take all appropriate steps to protect the premises of the Commission against any intrusion or damage and to prevent any disturbance of the peace of the Office or impairment of its dignity.
The premises of the office of the Commission, their furnishing and other property thereon and the means transpert shall be irmune from search, requisition, attachment and execution.

5. The archives and documents of the Office of the Commission shall be inviolable at any time and wherever they may be.
