Minutes of last meeting 25 March 1993: Mr Buchanan clarified point 8. Fire regulations applied to whatever type of school was registered. The first five floors were registered as a school by the Fire Dept, Mr Stowell commented that might be raised to six floors. Farrells were trying to get further redundant fire access land from the HK Park not holding up construction.
Mr Buchanan asked about the large expanse of wall outside the BC, and if he would be able to have parking spaces for the BC on the fire access side. He was informed that regulations did not permit parking on the access route.
Mr Whittle mentioned principle in para 6. of the minutes of the previous meeting Mr Buchanan. mentioned that no organisation should profit from being in the BCG. Figures for BC overheads had been given to the Treasury/Mr Hum, but these were very conservative.
In respect of the rental for the British Chamber, Mr Derek Savage had met with Johnson Stokes and Master and we awaited a report.
Mr Whittle would chase.
