Just to bring you up to date with a number of events related to the Consulate-General Building :
(a) Visit of Mr Goodlad - 12 October. I have not had confirmation
from the FCO that the ground cutting ceremony will take place at 1530. I have told them I need this by Monday 4 October at the latest. I have informed Farrells that this may take place and also
the Code whate Conczal should be ēû väe DLLC. As fal as the press is concerned, we will arrange for them to be invited.

this event. I can now give von Sc briefing is to take place in Francis Cornish's apartment at the Albany from 1830-1900 on 17 October, over drinks. I have asked Mike Stowell of Terry Farrell (Hong Kong) Ltd if he can make it at that time and get the model there by 1700. I have yet to have a response.
(e) British Design Exhibition : Hong Kong Convention and
Exhibition Centre - 22 October. Terry Farrell will be in town from 22 October. We have taken the opportunity uî his presence to newenge for a quävä kieliny of the GovernoI, MX Needhan, the Minister for Trade, and Francic Comnich to take place shortly after the opening ceremony at 1130 on 22 October. I have yet tu get confirmation of Terry Farrell's attendance. I have informed Fazxells that in any event the model will have to be there. I would hope that you can also be present?
2. One final point, Francis Cornish feels it would be useful if he could meet you prior to. all these events. Is there any chance of you making an appointment with his PA to see him in the BTC?
