GAMMON LAYS THE FOUNDATIONS FOR THE BRITISH CONSULATE-
GENERAL
HONG KONG, 12 October...Gammon Limited has won an $18 million contract for the site formation and foundation work for the British Consulate-General.
Foundations for the ten-storey building covering more than 16,000 square metres are to be completed by August 1994.
Gammon is undertaking a wide range of works as part of its contract, including site formation, construction of H- piles and caisson foundations.
The new Consulate-General office block, located on Supreme Court Road at Admiralty, will house the Consulate Office as well as the passport, immigration and
