HONG KONG CONSULATE GENERAL: FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
1.
Mr Whittle told us at the last meeting of the Steering Committee that the splendid model then on display would be going out to Hong Kong. It occurs to me that there may be mileage in arranging some sort of event during the visit to Hong Kong of the Foreign Affairs Committee. They will be in Hong Kong over the weekend of 16 October and will have a busy timetable. There would not necessarily be enough time for a special briefing - but if you agree I could seek approval eg forutyaning The Fire Theat for the model be on display at any reception organised for
to the FAC with someone on hand to explain it. You may have other thoughts.
