Goodlaw mesentating with PA office
Mr
The Committee stressed that they wished to be fully consulted once the Final Sketch Designs are completed. Mr Bradley also stated that the Governor wishes to see the FSDs and arrangements for this should be made before any public presentation. Whittle advised that it had always been OED's intention to have formal presentations at FSD stage. Mr Whittle agreed to liaise with the BTC over the timing etc: he was unable, during the meeting, to propose any dates as further consultation with Farrell would be necessary particularly to establish the availability of designs and model (see also para 8).

Hoardings round the site The Committee were enthusiastic about using the hoardings for publicity purposes and agreed to let OED have their proposals by early April.
British Chamber of Commerce's occupation of the building
I stated that only 100m2 approximately is available for BCC purposes and the terms of the PTG would make it difficult for us to rent space to them. Mr Smith Laittan stated that the BCC had hinted that they would require space for 20 staff by 1997. A meeting with the BCC was scheduled for Friday 26 March pm and it was agreed that the BTC would inform OED and HK Dept of the outcome.
British Council and exemption from Education Dept's Ordinance? (Please see para 7).
