COLVIN HOUSE PRIVATE TREATY GRANT
1. Thank you for copying to me your minute of 25 March. Grateful to know whether the Private Treaty Grant has now been signed and sealed, or if not when this is to take place.

As you know, on present plans the British Chamber of Commerce will be allocated space within the new Consulate General. As far as I know the question of financial arrangements for the facilities in the new Consulate General have so far been flagged up rather than discussed in any detail. I can certainly find no substantive exchanges on my files. Do you know whether the question of squaring financial arrangements with Special Conditions 13 of the PTG have ever been looked at in more detail? I do not want to reinvent the wheel.
