Re: Discussion on Saniman in Paris
refer to the fax I received from Deborah Barnes-Jones on Friday.
I am quite happy with the suggestion that we include Sally Evans in the team, indeed I think it would be most useful.
but
I have discussed with our Treasury people the question of funding one of your side to go to Paris it appears, unfortunately, that the terms of our vote preclude the possibility of funding someone outside the Hong Kong Government in these circumstances. I hope this will not inhibit the size of your team.
