William Purves requesting a review of one particular
case.
The retired Hong Kong Bank ex-serviceman for whom
Sir William is writing has appealed to several persons
before, including Baroness Dunn and Lord Glenarthur when
he was Minister of State in charge of Hong Kong affairs in
1988. Lord Glenarthur's reply is at encl. (5) at centre.
I have prepared a draft reply for you to Sir William at
encl, (6), affirming that this particular case will bc
reviewed though a positive outcome is very unlikely.
