Friends of mine have recently returned from a visit to Hong Kong expressing L some indignation that UK citizenship is apparently being denied to the relatively few widows of men who fought and died against the Japanese during the defence of Hong Kong in the Second World War.
I can't help feeling that this must be an issue which has been raised before and I would be most grateful if I could have a comment which I could send to my friends.
