Thank you for your letter of 10 November 1992.
I appreciate that it was paralleled by a lobby to the
Legislative Council which resulted in a debate on
18 November followed by the formation of a special
Nationality Sub-Committee specially to consider your issue
and that of war veterans' wives and widows. I have
therefore deferred replying to your letter in full, to
take account of and consider the views of the
Sub-Committee members also, as you and they would I am
sure appreciate.
