During the period covered by this report, the Steering Committee has held 6 meetings. The matters put to them for advice included:

(a) the application of special circumstances points to applicants in the general occupational class and the disciplined services class;

(b) the

procedures for handling applications in different classes;

(c) consideration of the profiles of applicants in

various classes ready for my recommendation;

(d) consideration of occupation-related

awards,

voluntary agencies and acts of bravery submitted by applicants for point-scoring purposes under Article 14(5) of the Schedule to the Order; and

(e) arrangements for the second phase of the scheme.
