Paragraph 3 of your minute of 11 August asked for confirmation that British Citizens can also be British Dependent Territory Citizens or British Nationals (Overseas). I can confirm that this is so. However, such persons may not hold two passports. They may hold a passport in one status with an observation that they hold the other. The DSP references are Consular Volume 2, Part 1, para 6.1.7 and para 6.1.12 (14) and (15), copies attached.
