BNO PHASED REGISTRATION PROGRAMME: STATIS AND PUBLICITY
STATISTICS
1. Hong Kong Government have requested monthly statistics from overseas posts on applications received under the BN (0) registration programme, to enable them to assess whether the present level of publicity concerning the above scheme is sufficient. Grateful therefore if posts would provide Hong Kong with numbers of applications received each month in addition to numbers of late applications. (FCO tel 181 to Abidjan refers)
2. Immigration Hong Kong have drawn up a standard format of a return which is shown below. First return to cover period from 23 July to end of August. Thereafter returns should be on a monthly basis. Columns III and IV of the table will only be applicable from November onwards, as there will be no late applications before that month. Standard format as follows:
