/ 1. When Lord Brammel called this morning, the Minister
undertook to let him have a copy of the letter sent to selected
MPs and Lords in advance of the LegCo House Committee visit.
2. The Minister may also wish to enclose a copy of Baroness Chalker's latest letter to Lord Shawcross, addressing in detail the question of consistency between the Governor's
constitutional proposals and the Basic Law.
