HKSAR passports
Under Article 154 of the Basic Law, Chinese citizens with HKSAR permanent identity cards (i.e. who have right of abode in the HKSAR) will be eligible for HKSAR passports.

The following people should be eligible for HKSAR passports
(i)
(ii)
former BDTCs (whether or not they have obtained BN (0) passports before 1 July 1997), if they are Chinese citizens under the Chinese Nationality Law and have right of abode in the HKSAR;
CI holders who are Chinese citizens under the Chinese
Nationality Law and have right of abode in the HKSAR; and
(iii) other persons who are Chinese
citizens under the Chinese
Nationality Law and have right of abode in the HKSAR.
re-admission to HKSAR :
No restrictions at any time.
validity : Ten years.
