I refer to your query about a cut-off date for applications for BN(0) made on behalf of children born in 1997. Could we not simply add to the end of the columns shown in the Second Schedule of the new Order, another year of birth, 1997, and a corresponding final date for receipt of applications, namely 30 September 1997 or 31 October 1997 or whatever date you wished? I do not think that we would need to specify in column 1 any particular months, because anybody born after 30 June would not be a BDTC and the column heading refers to year of birth of BDTC.
The date shown in the second paragraph of the explanatory note would need to be amended to show whatever cut-off date you chose, but so far as we can see that is all that would be required.
