The BNO passport issued to Mr Ebrahim has been retained on its criginal issue file as the applicant only wished to register as a British National Overseas.
At present Mr Ebrahim holds passport 975508 issued Hong Kong 6.9.88 as a BDTC HK amended to British citizen 13.12.88 and British passport 810995S issued Newport as a British citizen with the observation "that the holder is also a British National Overseas, with the Right of Abcde In Hong Kong.
