I minuted separately to Gavin Hewitt about the Secretary of State's thinking for a trip at Easter next year. We should keep in the background the possibility of a visit to Hong Kong as part of that trip: depending on events it may be timely, but we should not plan on such a visit now, and not yet start consulting Posts.
