Secretary of State's Visit to the Far East: Easter 94
Thank you for your minute of 2 December reporting the Governor's difficulty over the dates proposed for the Secretary of State's visit. I have also seen Bangkok telno 498 which reports Thai difficulties over that week.
We have discussed this with the Secretary of State. He has concluded that we should, if possible, transpose the whole visit to the week before Easter. Given that the Governor is only available in the first part of the week, a programme might run:
