VISIT OF CZECH FOREIGN MINISTER

The Czech Embassy telephoned me to: request an apartment/suite for the Minister and his wife to ask whether the two hotels (for official delegation and business men/journalists) are close together. (I hope so if not they want everybody in the same hotel!)
to be reassured that those organising the tour to the New Territories are aware of the departure time of the plane and that allowance has been made for that
- to ask that transport be made available (at their cost) from the Embassy to the hotel for those members of the official party not being met by Mr Warrington plus the two remaining bodyguards. They are concerned not to separate the official party. (They presumably will not have any Hong Kong dollars at this point, so is it possible to put on hotel bill, or book a hotel minibus? They will have US$ with them, if that helps).
I have pressed for a response on transport could always organise that on arrival.
