VISIT OF CZECH FOREIGN MINISTER
1. Thank you for sending Mrs Barnes Jones a copy of your fax dated 21 June to Mr Vymetal at the Czech Embassy in London.

Mr Vymetal has been in touch to give us the information you requested in your fourth paragraph. He says that the blood group of both the Foreign Minister and his wife is "0". I told him that we also needed the rhesus factor but he did not have it. Their general health condition is good and they do not need any special requirements for medical treatment.

Mr Vymetal also brought up the question of the transport arrangements for the air crew. He thought that a 40 seater coach was rather large and asked if it would be possible to find a smaller coach. I told him that you were aware that there were only 19 members of the crew and that probably you had not been able to find a smaller coach. If this is so then leave things as they are.
