Further to my telephone message to Deborah Barnes Jones yesterday, I can now confirm the following arrangements :

The Governor will send an Honorary Mr Patrick Cheung Pak-to, and a Crown Car Their Majesties on arrival and drive them to the hotel and then to collect them from the hotel and drive them to the airport on departure.
A security escort will be provided. The Field Commander will be Chief Inspector Stephen Chalkley, the close escort for the King will be Inspector Andrew McRobbie and the close escort for the queen Woman Police Constable Ng Kit-yung.
For your information, our Protocol office have been contacted by Mr Andrew Li requesting that the Honorary consul General of Tonga not be allowed to come to the airport to meet Their Majesties. we have not acted on this request.
