The lease of the British Trade Commission (BTC) offices runs until April 1997 but can be terminated earlier if need be. There are no known problems although, as a contingency in the run up to 1997, there is some spare space. Post are reorganising their offices in order to absorb additional
staff.
St John's Building
3. The Joint Liaison Group (JLG) offices, leased until June 1995 with an option to renew, are also larger than we currently need and could provide for additional requirements in the period up to 1997.
Residences:

The Senior Trade Commissioner's Residence is a penthouse in an admirably located block, "The Albany", which was leased, adapted and furnished in 1989. The flat could serve as an interim Residence post 1997 if necessary.
