MR GOODLAD'S VISIT TO HONG KONG, 10-12 OCTOBER 1993
1.
Hong Kong telnos 1414 and 1415 set out a draft programme
for Mr Goodlad's visit. This covers the ground well. But I
recommend that the Minister should offer the HMOCS Association the opportunity to speak with him while he is in Hong Kong.
On the future Consulate General, the Colvin House site is now in the process of demolition in preparation for site formation. The Minister might like to visit the site for a
photo opportunity.
2.
Subject to any views from the Minister, I recommend that we comment on these lines and submit a telegram to Hong Kong.
