6. The details of Mr Patten's visit to Frankfurt and Bonn and Kohl's visit to Hong Kong can be worked out in slower time once this announcement is out of the way. It seems to me, however, that it resolves the problem of a meeting between the Governor and the Chancellor caused by Kohl's not being in Bonn on 15 November when Mr Patten plans to be here.
