HMA Bonn has asked for a check-list of the points likely to figure in the Prime Minister's statement to pass to Bitterlich
in advance of the Summit. This should help ensure that the respective drafts taken to the Summit are broadly in line.
Some parts of the statement have already been agreed with the
Germans.
4.
One or two other points on foreign policy co-ordination and Defence Co-operation can be pursued with the Germans through this exercise.
