You and Mr Hum are welcome to attend for any agenda item which interests you. On the other hand, if you prefer to leave this to Heads of Department please feel free to do so. (Perhaps you would let my secretary know your intentions). I should be grateful if Heads of Department plus a record-taker from the relevant Department could be present for the items for which they have responsibility. Records should be as brief as possible and mainly concerned to note new points of interest in the French approach plus points for action.

Detailed briefs will not be required but I should be grateful if Heads of Department could let me have bull points to make for each subject. For each country these should not occupy more than a page and ideally could be considerably shorter.
