Except where a check list only is required, the briefs for both meetings should be full, particularly where we are down to lead or reply. They should be in the format of objectives and points to make on blue-crested paper with background on white, plus three spare copies on white. The check lists should be on blue-crested, again with three spare copies on white. The heading on the front page of the Troika briefs should indicate which country is to lead and which to reply. All these briefs should be with me by close of play on Thursday 25 February. I should also be grateful for a sentence or two on each subject for the steering brief.
