CALL BY THE KEIDANREN ON THE SECRETARY OF STATE, 22 MARCH

1. A delegation from the Keidanren (the Japanese Federation of Economic Organisations: CBI equivalent) will be calling on the Secretary of State on 22 March. I should be grateful for a contribution to his briefing by noon on 17 March. Contributions should be in draft, accompanied by a 3" Uniplex disk where possible.

2. The Embassy in Tokyo have suggested that the Secretary of State take the lead in getting across points we want to make. I should be grateful for briefs as follows:
