Dear Sir,
Petition for Assistance to Free TSIM TAI HING Who Has been Detained in China without Trial
(詹泰興)
I take liberty writing to you to seek your assistance and intervention for the release of my husband who has been detained by the Chinese police for over two years without any trial.
My husband is a legitimate resident of Hongkong holding HK identity card No. H384195(4). He immigrated to Hongkong in 1981.
On 27th May, 1990, my husband was arrested at the Shenzhen border on his way back to Hongkong. Later I learned from the television broadcast that he had been accused of being a spy for Taiwan.
He has been detained without trial since then. As a temporary labourer, I have to work hard to support my children ranging from 3 to 8. I am in a very desperate situation.
I have written to the Governor of Hongkong but so far there has been no news of the whereabouts of my husband. I would be very grateful if you could, on human rights grounds, find out through diplomatic channels the whereabouts of my husband and whether or not he could be put on a fair and open trial.
I look forward to your early reply,
HKD DISTI
