UK/THAILAND BILATERAL CONFISCATION AGREEMENT
1. Thank you for your letter of 6 August. I am sorry that it has taken me a couple of weeks to reply.
2. We do not understand why the Thai authorities take the
view that the agreement that we are in the process of negotiating with them will automatically extend to Hong Kong. None of our agreements are automatically extended to include Dependent Territories or Crown Dependencies. This is a matter for seperate negotiation with all the parties. Expand to Say
