I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your Note of today's date to inform me that the requirements of the Hong Kong Government for the entry into force of the Agreement on the Encouragement and Protection of Investments between the Government of Hong Kong and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, signed on November 19, 1992, have been complied with.
In confirm that, as far as the Kingdom in Europe, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba is concerned, the constitutional requirements for the entry into force of this Agreement have also been complied with. Accordingly I confirm that your Note together with this reply shall be regarded as requisite notification under the Agreement, which shall therefore enter into force on September 1, 1993 in accordance with its Article 12.
