In order to ensure that information on patents protected in Hong Kong can be made available in electronic form we recommend that the bibliographic data of such patents be entered into an electronic database.
15.45. We further recommend the establishment in Hong Kong of a technical information centre providing services similar to those provided by the Search and Advisory Service of the United Kingdom Patent Office and numerous other Patent offices and technical information service organisations worldwide.
