The schedule for outstanding localisation items will be scheduled from January 1994 to July 1996. From October 1996 to June 1997, the Legco slots will reserved for unfinished localisation items (if any) and adaptation of laws.
The LegCo slots already obtained for localisation items in the 1993-94 Session should as far as possible be so utilized.
The most sensitive items (such as official Secrets Act) will be scheduled to the later part of the schedule. For items that are not considered to be sensitive, important items should be done first. The "importance" of an item is determined by whether the lack of the respective law would lead to public
disorder.
Items are scheduled according to the readiness of the DDIS, DIS and draft bills.
