Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1.
Short title
This Ordinance may be cited as the Audit (Amendment) Ordinance 1993.
Interpretation
Section 2 of the Audit Ordinance (Cap. 122) is amended—
(a) in the definition of “Director” by repealing “and” at the end; and (b) by adding-

Section 13 is amended

(a) in subsection (1) by repealing "Governor as”; and
(b) in subsection (2) by repealing "Governor" and substituting
"President".
Director's certification of accounts and report
of accounts of bodies corporate, etc.
Section 16(2) is repealed and the following substituted-
"(2) If the Director so requests, the Governor shall authorize the Director to transmit to the President a copy of any certified statement of accounts or report submitted to the Governor under subsection (1), and the procedure to be followed in respect of such statement or report shall be in accordance with section 12(2) and (2A).”.

6. Director of Audit's examination
Section 12 of the Employees Retraining Ordinance (76 of 1992) is amended-
(a) in subsection (3) by repealing "Governor as";
(b) in the Chinese text in subsection (3) by repealing "Dr

(c) in subsection (4) by repealing "Governor" and substituting
"President of the Legislative Council"; and
(d) in the Chinese text in subsection (4) by repealing “” wherever
it appears and substituting “BER”.
Examination and audit of annual statements
by the Director and submission
of report to the President
Section 12 is amended-
(a) in subsection (1)(b) by repealing “Governor as”;
(b) in subsection (2) by repealing "Governor” and substituting
"President";
(c) in subsection (2A) by repealing "Governor" and substituting
"President"; and
(d) in subsection (3)(a) by repealing "Governor as”.
