Ex-China Vietnamese Illegal Immigrants (EVCIIS) : Repatriation by Air
A total of 377 ECVIIs from Hainan province were repatriated by air in six flights over three consecutive days starting on 13 October. The repatriation exercise was conducted without incident. Discussions are continuing with the Chinese over the repatriation by air of 440 ECVIIs from the Guangxi province and a further batch of 510 ECVIIS from the Hainan province.
