onward entry facilities (including entry facilities for any

country en route, if necessary).

The above arrangements, which will be implemented

starting from 1 August, will enable PRC transitees to enter

Hong Kong via any immigration control point (including Kai Tak

transitees who travel to and from Taiwan on two-way permits.

To simplify the clearance of these transitees, we will waive

the visa requirement for their return trip from Taiwan to China

via Hong Kong and grant them a stay of 7 days.
