Participants at both meetings are reminded that the Secretariat will not be able to type. translate or reproduce any documents other than those relating directly to the work of the Conference (i.e. draft recommendations, draft reports, etc.). It would be greatly appreciated, therefore. if heads of delegations and other participants could bring with them typed copies of their major statements in order to facilitate the work of the Conference Secretariat and the Press Liaison Office.

Round Tables
Three Round Tables, lasting 1 to 3 hours each, are being organized during the Conference on the following topics:
(i)
Wednesday 23 June 1993 - from 2.30 pm to 4 pm Vocational education (organized by Australia);
Wednesday 23 June 1993 - from 4 pm to 5.30 pm

(ii)
Roles and responsibilities of the donor community in supporting basic education (organized by UNICEF/UNESCO), and
(iii) Thursday 24 June 1993 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
Values as an integral force in the development of education to meet challenges of the twenty-first century (organized by Malaysia).
Working language
The working language of ADCOM VII and MINEDAP VI will be English.
Speakers are free, however, to deliver their statements in their language, provided that they make their own arrangements for the interpretation of their statements into English.

Press Liaison Office
A UNESCO information and press liaison will operate at the seat of the meetings. Representatives of the press, radio, film, television and photo agencies will be able to follow the work of the Conference.

Conference documents, background papers and press releases will be made available through this office to correspondents requesting such material. This office will also organize press conferences, if and as required, and assist press correspondents in arranging press, radio and television interviews with delegates and key officials.

Facilities at the Conference premises
Telex, fax and international telephone services will be available. Expenses incurred by the use of these facilities will be the responsibility of individual delegates. A medical service and a cafeteria/bar providing snacks and refreshments will be open for participants at the two hotels. Foreign exchange. post office and travel agency services will also be available. Newspaper stands, additional restaurant/snack and general shopping facilities are available at the Concorde and Shangri-La hotels.

Entry formalities
19. a) All participants entering Malaysia must be in possession of a valid passport and, if necessary, an entry visa. Participants should contact the nearest Malaysian diplomatic mission or consular authorities for further information.
