Han Dongfang, the exiled Chinese labour activist, will talk to club members about the importance of independent trade unions to China's future development. He will also describe his continuing efforts to return to his homeland and the
possible significance of recent official Chinese statements indicating some give
on the earlier, hard line. Han's talk will be in Putonghua with translation into English.
