1. Thank you for your fax of 12 March to Rod Bunten regarding the proposed amendments to the draft record of the above meeting, which your Chambers sent to United Nations Department in July 1991.
UND
2. We have spoken to UND. Unfortunately they have no record of any amendments to the draft, nor has UKMIS New York. have suggested that one reason for this (other than the amendments having been lost en route) was that the amendments were received after the amendment deadline, and the draft could not be changed. UND have also advised us that trying to amend a UNHRC draft after 2 years would be very difficult.
