1. I attach a copy of a letter from Hong Kong Immigration Department. They have informed us that the next-of-kin of the Hong Kong victims of KAL-007 feel that, since the Korean crew appear to have been partly to blame for the tragedy, the UK Government should pursue the compensation claim with the Korean Government as well as with the Russian Government. I would be grateful for your views on this matter.
