REGISTRATION OF THE HONG KONG/SWITZERLAND AIR SERVICES AGREEMENT AT THE UN
1.
The ASA Hong Kong concluded with Switzerland has recently been ratified by the Swiss, and we have undertaken to register it on Hong Kong's behalf of the UN.
2.
I enclose accordingly 3 copies of the ASA (one certified, 2 uncertified) together with a covering third person note to the Secretary-General. These are modelled on the precedent of the Hong Kong/Netherlands ASA which was registered in 1988, and have been cleared with our legal advisers. I should be grateful if you would make the necessary arrangements, and let me know when the registration has been completed.
3. As it is so long since the agreement was signed, Alan Paul may wish to mention the registration to the Chinese JLG Office as a courtesy.
