of Hong Kong are our own flesh and blood, and as such, we

scope of the Conventions. I would like to express again

our hope that your side would be able to give a definite

and positive response as soon as possible on the question

of confidentiality of the confidential information

(classified intelligence) to be exchanged (or alternatively

known as the scope of use of the information exchanged) in

off-site emergencies at the Guangdong Nuclear Power

Station. As regards the specific provisions and wording,

these may be discussed.

Your side have agreed to hold a second delegation

moeting. I believe that you have already noted that such a

meeting will be held upon your side's having given a

positive and definite response on the question of

confidentiality (the question of the scope of use of the

information exchanged between the two sides), I have also

noted that your side "are prepared to put forward

constructive and useful suggestions" in respect of the

question of confidentiality.
