Continuous gamma measurement results at AS1, AS2 and AS3 at 5-minute intervals as in para. 2(c) (iii) above; and
Results of quantitative analysis of gamma, alpha and beta radionuclides in samples of air particulate, deposition, aerosol and rain water collected at AS1, AS2 and AS3 as soon as they are available.
The Hong Kong side will reciprocate by providing meteorological data at eleven stations and continuous gamma measurement results at ten stations at 3-hourly intervals during normal times and at half-hourly intervals at other times.
Communication Channels
9.
Meteorological data are exchanged via the existing dedicated meteorological circuit.

Continuous gamma measurement results are exchanged via temporary direct computer link between the data collection systems of the two sides established in the Consensus Paper on Agenda Item 4.
11.
Communication on plant conditions and other information during times of emergency will be made through the communication channels established in the Consensus Paper on Agenda Item 2.

As proposed in para. 2(b) above, direct telephone and fax links with designated contact persons/agencies should be established to facilitate the two sides to better coordinate their public relations strategies and their responses to the media in all situations. If an incident is confirmed, each side will release information in regular news bulletins and other forms on the latest developments to keep the public informed and to ease their concerns.
