FRENCH TEXT OF HONG KONG/SWITZERLAND IPPA

In December of last year you checked the French text of the Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement between Hong Kong and Switzerland.

The Swiss have now written to Hong Kong with comments on Hong Kong's proposed amendments to this text. I should be grateful if you would check the Swiss comments to ensure they are acceptable. For ease of reference I enclose the correspondence between Hong Kong and the Swiss Consulate General, the original French and English texts of the IPPA, and your own detailed comments on the French text as set out in Patricia Phillips' minute of 28 January 1993.
3. As before, Hong Kong Government will pay the translation
costs.
