INTELLIGENCE AND INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS

Intelligence plays
an
important part in shaping
the operational and policy decisions that will be taken during the course of a terrorist incident.
It is
essential that all operational intelligence is passed to
the Police
Police Headquarters Command and Control Intelligence Centre (PHQCCC Intcen) without delay.

Departments, in particular the Police, Civil Aviation Department (CAD) (for aviation incidents), Information Services Department (ISD) and others involved in the incident will ensure that the GSC (via GSECC) are kept informed of the incident and its progress, and will be required to provide situation reports (sitreps) and briefings covering their respective areas responsibility.
