COMMENTS BY THE COMMITTEE OF EXPERTS
ILO: ARTICLE 22 REPORTS
1. I enclose the text of the ILO Committee of Experts' comments on Conventions on which Hong Kong is reporting under Article 22 of the ILO Constitution. The ILO have sent these to us now in order to keep governments informed of the Experts' comments at an early stage, and to enable them to give early consideration to any measures which they may need to take in view of these comments.
2.
There is no need for an immediate response. However, it would be helpful if by 31 March 1994 you could send us your comments on those of the Conventions which are due for reports in 1994. This would enable the Department of Employment to check the reports and, if necessary, seek further information before the ILO formally request responses in June.
