"Regulation 16 of the Women and Young Persons (Industry) Regulations made under the Employment Ordinance requires every employer of young persons in an industrial undertaking to maintain a register of all such young persons employed therein. The register must contain the photograph, name, residential address, identity card number, date of birth, date of commencement of work in the undertaking, period of employment, intervals for meals and rest, rest days and nature of employment of all young persons employed, and such other particulars as may be prescribed in order to ensure that the provisions of regulations 8, 9, 10, 11 and 14 of the Women and Young Persons (Industry) Regulations are complied with.
Three copies of the register in the prescribed form were attached to the report on Convention No. 14 for the two-year period ending 30 June 1980".
