Accommodation
(a)

Meeting Rooms, Office Space, etc.
(i)

The Plenary Hall (AMR, Annex 2A) will be accommodated within the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
Smaller Meeting and Conference Rooms (AMR, Annex 2B) will be provided in the
HKCEC.
(iii)
Offices, Meeting and Conference Rooms and Service Facilities (AMR, Annex 3A) It is noted that the Annual Meetings projected requirement for office units of This commitment will be met through the 20 sq.m. is approximately 850. construction of approximately 230 units in the HKCEC and by converting to offices approximately 620 sleeping rooms in the New World Harbour View Hotel. The HKMA will review options for accommodating offices in other locations which can be connected to the HKCEC. Any alternative location must be acceptable to all parties concerned.
The office units constructed within the HKCEC Exhibition Halls, in meeting rooms, etc., will be satisfactorily soundproofed and air conditioned, as required. All offices will have adequate lighting, electrical and telephone outlets. The provision of communication ports will be in accordance with the specifications contained in Annex
5B of the AMR.
In addition to office units, areas for other functions, e.g., Press Room, Registration, Print Shop and Documents Distribution as defined in AMR Annex 3A through 3L,
will be provided in the HKCEC.
